Can you arc weld exhaust

Any tips or trick for welding an exhaust for a first timer. I did 16 ga sheet like that for many moons. Don Go Spurs Go!!!!!! Don, What's the difference in the C's that you like them better? That's designed for "sheet metal" use, which is closer to exhaust pipe. It has less penetration for a reason. They seem to be a bit smoother.

The arc might be softer as well. Bead appearance is a little better. I'm not talking a big difference either, just subtle differences that make them better. I sent some to George Sundown and he liked them as well. I started using them when Airco was making them. Lincoln had apparently taken over production of a few of their rods.
