For years during my working years I wore wigs so I wouldn't have to fool with my hair daily which meant that I now had a head full of white hair. After I decided I wanted a change and dyed my hair black I realized I did not like and wanted my white hair back. I have blond highlights, love this shampoo it makes my hair more brighter and smells great. It does lighten my hair, but I've noticed my hair being really dry after using. It has a smell to it that isn't the best but it's not the worst. It works well for an affordable purple shampoo. I would leave the shampoo sitting on my hair for at least minutes to really get rid of the brassy and red undertones that would sneak in from my natural hair color.
