All of our boards are suitable for most ages and sizes. The major factor to consider is the rider's ability and riding style more than anything else. We typically find most customers, if they are beginners, will have a much smoother learning experience on the 27" board as these boards are a bit bigger, providing some extra stability.

It's a common misconception that the smaller 22" board will be more suited to a smaller or younger person, however, this isn't always the case. A lot of Penny riders often progress from the 27" board onto our other sized boards, depending on their preference.

If you learn to cruise and carve tight and fast on a Penny Board, you should have acquired the skills to ride almost any other board shape comfortably, with some adjustments to your stance. NO- Because it is so small, and fast, the Penny Board is not very stable. Having a wider, more crouched stance, makes the skater more stable than a narrow, more upright stance.

For an adult, or anyone with feet over size 9, the Penny Board will probably be too small to feel comfortable on, and will take more effort to be able to learn to ride with any stability. Although there may be individual differences, this is totally normal and we express that there is no problem with product functionality and durability.
