What do tzhaar drop

They are more popular to kill than TzHaar-Xil , despite their higher defence and hitpoints , due to dropping more valuable obsidian items such as the toktz-ket-xil and tzhaar-ket-om.

All TzHaar have an uncommon chance to drop uncut sapphires , uncut emeralds , and uncut rubies as well as a rare chance to drop uncut diamonds.

There are stronger TzHaar-Ket located in the inner area of the city. In order to fight these, a fire cape must be shown to any TzHaar-Ket guard near the barrier these guards are unattackable.

As soon as you attack a Hur, any other TzHaars in the surrounding area will attack you. This is certain death, as the TzHaar-Mej are very powerful mages, with an enourmous fireball attack which is unmissable. TzHaar-Mej can also melee you with their staff, so they're very dangerous. It isn't just the monsters that can be annoying, it's the players too. On a busy world, TzHaar is packed with pures and other annoying players. Show up with a Rune Halberd and be prepared to turn Public Chat off.

You'll be barraged with 'omgs' and 'lol wtf rune hally noob' sentences until you turn Public Off or switch worlds. Don't let this deter you bringing your Rune Halberd. If you do get called names, just reply calmly 'I haven't done Regicide yet' or 'Yep, I love you too'. That should shut them up. Even more annoying than the name-calling, there are kill stealers.

The whole of TzHaar is Multi-Combat, so be prepared for some kill stealers. Even high levels will kill steal you. Don't moan at them for kill stealing. They'll just reply with something like 'It isn't my fault you can't kill a TzHaar you noob. That's all the warnings. Yes, there's no arrow stealers. They can call you noobs, steal your kills, make fun of you for not being pure, but they'll never sink so low to steal arrows.

Now read on and kill some TzHaars! Getting There. There are three main ways of getting there. TzHaar caves, you can go from Port Sarim to Karamja by taking the boat recommended , or you can rub your Amulet of Glory, if you have one, and teleport in the banana plantation recommended.

If you chose options two or three, head west to the volcano and climb down the rope into the dungeon. Immediately next to you after you enter, there'll be a cave. Enter this cave to get to TzHaar. You can also fairy ring teleport straight into the caves.

The code is BLP. These monsters may seem daunting, but they're really easy once you get the hang of it. There are quite a few ways of killing them. Don't use prayer potions here, they're a waste of money. There's an easier way. First, wear the best prayer-boosting armor you can wear monk robes, initiate, proselyte , you can use a dragon mace if you want, but whips or better dragon weapons are recommended.

Also, use a Prayer Book if you can. Now, how to do it. You should manage to get at least five kills in until your prayer runs out. If you can't, then you might as well use prayer potions. After your prayer runs out, you have two choices. Fight Caves or Fight Pits. If not, go to Fight Caves. Put up a fight in Fight Caves, I don't think some level 13's would be able to kill you, you TzHaar killing demon, you.

If in Fight Pits, you can fight if you want, but it's best to die. As soon as you die, your prayer is restored! Wash, rinse and repeat. Don't kill those these are the ones holding Obsidian Rings. Rune or Barrows is a must here.

If you are using Barrows, don't use full Dharok's, as you want to keep as high health as possible. These bad boys can hit high. You can use Dharok's armor, or his Great Axe, but his special won't come in handy. If you can afford it, Guthan's is a good idea, as you will use less food.

Verac's isn't that good here, as TzHaars don't pray. For the weapons, a whip, a Barrows weapon, or a good, fast Dragon weapon. Just attack a Tzhaar and if you get rather low health, heal. Don't wait until the last second before healing, as this won't work. If you lag, you're dead. Possibly the safest way to kill TzHaars, and the cheapest too. Magic Bow, Dark Bow or Crystal bows are the only bows that should be used here.

Anything else is too weak to go up against TzHaars. Use at least iron arrows. Use the best D'hide you can wear. There are two safe spots in TzHaar. The Gold Rocks are easiest for attacking monsters, except they're busy. Expect kill stealers and maybe an arrow stealer or two.

If you want to use the weapon store method, it's advised that you bring extra food, as you will need to lure the TzHaars around the fence and into the Weapon's store where you can safely range from behind boxes.

These will range you back. Same as Range, but with magic spells and armour. For the armour, Mystic or Splitbark is the best bet here. Infinity is too much trouble to get, and too expensive to lose. Again, same methods as above. It's your choice of spell, but Wind Blast or above works best. You can use the God spells or Ancient Magicks for this, but the runes cost more. Same safe spots, but more food, because Mystic gives less melee protection than Dragon Hide.

Rune or Dragon Halberds are basically the only things that are able to kill TzHaars, anything below will barely scratch. You might want to bring some food, just in case you wind up in a bad spot. There are 3 safe spots in TzHaar. One is by the Gold Rocks near the bank. This should only be used for Range or Mage becaue the TzHaars are normally a long distance from here. There's one near the Furnace. To avoid getting yourself hit, hide behind the many Lava Vents around this area, and Mage or Range them.

Again, Halberding isn't good here. If you are Halberding, you'll have to do the much more complicated Weapon Store safe spot.
