Eureka 313a where to buy

Second, the water well doesn't make it through a complete round of my kitchen floor before needing a refill. I have a standard sized kitchen with a tile floor And lastly, others have described the pads as, I'd describe them as thin as your average dish cloth.

Skip this machine! Once this one fails to get hot, and Lord knows, it will, I will invest in one of those bulky upright steamers since I have tried the Shark, the Haan and now this Eureka. All three have been fails. The item comes with the mop, two pads, and a funnel and cup to fill the tank.

The only complaint I have is the short cord. This item doesn't use any solution or cleaners, which for me is fine as I never remember to buy the solution after my initial purchase. I was so excited to get my Eureka Enviro Steam Cleaner.

Ridiculously excited. I live with the world's messiest eater, drinker, and cook, and all of the floors in our house are tile. I was sick of scrubbing on my hands and knees I did a lot of research, and was impressed with Enviro's small size and thousands of raves reviews. I waited until it was on sale, and ordered one. It didn't live up to my expectations. Yes, the water gets hot. Yes, the floor gets clean. A lot. A few of the reviewers said that they'd had the same problem, but that it went away after the first use.

It also has a rather short cord for my space and requires multiple fill ups to clean a room. Because of the leak, mine only works for about 6 or 7 minutes before it needs to be refilled. It's supposed to be unplugged and cooled down a little before you pour water into the reservoir, so it takes longer than I think it should to clean the floor.

Unfortunately, I was so aggravated the first time I used it that it was awhile before I tried it again to see if, as the other reviewers said, the Eureka Enviro Steam Cleaner would seal itself. It didn't, and the return period had passed. In a nutshell, I'm stuck with a leaky rag pusher. It gets hot. It cleans the floor. It doesn't take up much space. I feel cheated out of the Nirvana-like experiences all the other reviewers seem to be having.

I live in a square foot home. Most of the house is tile flooring, so we mop a lot. The squared edges make it good for cleaning in corners but it is a bit difficult to maneuver in smaller spaces. Moving it slowly enough to get the dirt and to sanitize properly is the key. I offer hand-knit cloths for these and other steamers on eBay and have had many helpful conversations with other eBay members about their steamers. Some hints are: use only distilled or low-mineral content water, drain it after every use, let it cool down completely before putting it away, store the tank cap away from the steamer to guarantee the tank stays empty and dry during storage.

So far my A is working and cleaning fine with use about 3 times a month. When I bought the steamer I ordered two replacement parts for the area where the handle connects to the base because I had my Homeworks and my old Eureka break at the handle. The first model A which I also have still works fine and does not seem to have such a fragile connection as do its successors. It is concerning that I see so very many Eureka A steamers for sale on eBay in the aftermarket. Is it because they were tried a few times and the owners were dissatisfied?

I have some anecdotes from eBay members to indicate this. They were ready to send their new steamers back for a refund because they were dissatisfied with the cleaning result given by the pads. They tried my hand-knit cloths and kept their steamers. All in all, the concept of steam cleaning floors and other surfaces is an excellent one. Manage your steamer according to the directions that come with it and try my hints to make it last longer. I also have a ProSteam which works very well on a regular basis.

Read full review. I've looked at other Steam Mops, and the information I've come across pointed to the Envirosteamer. It's a pretty much mid line steamer for a good price - the cord reaches decently far but has no retract unit.

The handle telescopes but may collapse down under too much pushing. Other than those two design flaws, the unit heats up far better than the shark F on the Shark and over F on the Envirosteamer , it comes with a mat for you to wait for it to heat up on, the pads remove easily and could be swapped out for microfiber cloths of similar density and size.

It's very easy to push, my 6 year old manages without any trouble. The handle is also very long, meaning no stooping. My unit took about 2 minutes to set up and another 2 minutes to heat up. I've got about sq ft of hardwood f loor to clean daily dogs and cats and a kid and it has no trouble - I fill it at the half way mark the low water indicator is great!

Takes about 20 minutes depending on how much mess there is. You won't go wrong for the price, at around a hundred bucks it's far better than many others on the market! Don't get sucked in by other gimmicks! Seemed to leave a bit of water on floor when I first started using it.

Have learned to let it get very hot, don't move it fast across the floor. Move with slow strokes, especially when pulling back torward you. Air Turbo. Garage Kits. Electric Powerheads.
