Where to buy ducky shine 2

I work in a professional atmosphere and while I have blue LEDs on my keyboard at home, white LEDs are, in my opinion at least, more professional for the office. This keyboard allows me to have the best switches for typists while still have the illuminated keys that I love so much. The secondary reasons I purchased a Ducky keyboard are these; first I love the Ducky logo way too much, second, I love the Ducky brand name.

It's fun to say "Ducky. My keyboard arrived with an ill fitting switch. Fortunately, it's on the Z-key so I almost never notice it. Also, I have not made any effort to fix the switch or oil the switch, so I do not hold the switch against the keyboard.

One thing you have to be wary of on these types of keyboards is that the letters on the keycaps tend to wear out quickly. I think it has to do something with the ABS plastic that the keycaps are made of. For example, the black plastic is wearing off the space bar right where my thumb hits it. If you play computer games with your keyboard, it's very likely that the paint will rub off on the keys you hit the most. Not withstanding my complaint, I would still recommend this keyboard to everyone and anyone, especially those who do a lot of typing.

Although, on further thought, I would not recommend ANY keyboard, regardless of brand, that has Cherry MX Blue switches in it to a person who will be typing or gaming at times where other people in the house are sleeping. While I don't think the clicks of the switches are annoying while people are awake, the clicking is definitely loud enough to annoy people who are trying to sleep. One final thing I would like to point out. This is not what I would classify as a gaming keyboard.

Obviously you can use it for gaming, but there are no macro keys and there are no USB ports on the side of the keyboard. I like to think of this keyboard as a general use board.
